I purchased this unit on Black Friday. It was beautiful out of the box, all pieces and manuals present. Also very pleased that I was able to disable the Toshiba junk ware so the startup is almost instantaneous! Literally Windows 7 loads, it presents my sign in password block, and BOOM! it’s ready to rock and roll.

As far as the battery issue folks have been mentioning, I set the display brightness to 78%, and I get just under 4 hours of battery (depending upon whether I choose to run a movie or not). All in all, this Laptop is a fine replacement for the Toshiba I had that died after 4 years (motherboard AND HDD…go figure!) I saw that someone mentioned that the keys made a lot of noise when typing…I haven’t noticed it being too intrusive. My mouse and right/left keys took a bit of getting used to because they are horizontal and narrow…otherwise working great!
